Wonders of Wildlife

Gold Mechanical had the honor of expanding part of one of Missouri’s finest landmarks: Bass Pro Shops. Johnny Morris’s Wonders of Wildlife has been voted America’s Best Aquarium by USA TODAY and has brought much attention to the Springfield area. Our team had the pleasure of contributing all the HVAC systems crucial to the operation of the aquarium. This includes customized rooftop equipment designed to maintain the extremely delicate penguin exhibit.

The Gold Mechanical team is proud to be involved in so many local projects that add vibrancy to our beautiful hometown of Springfield, MO. Missouri State’s Glass Hall is a prime example of the quality and craftsmanship we strive to showcase for our community. This building facilitates MSU’s School of Business Program. We take great pride in contributing to a modern, state-of-the-art facility for our city’s finest students.

Reconstructing Joplin Schools following the tragic 2011 tornado is one of our proudest jobs to date. Gold Mechanical is grateful to have contributed to the rebuilding of our neighboring city. The beauty of these newly constructed schools is the perfect representation of the resiliency of the Joplin natives who rose against great adversity.

Dewey Short Visitor Center

Located near Table Rock Lake in Branson, MO, Dewey Short Visitor Center is a beautifully constructed facility that celebrates the history and culture of Southern Missouri. The aesthetic of this building is something to behold and the Gold Mechanical team is happy to have played a part in its construction.

Sight and Sound Theatre

Sight and Sound Theatre is one of Branson’s premier attractions and has been since its construction in 2008. This unique theatre showcases biblical plays that have incredible sets and live animals. The Gold Mechanical team led the charge on installing heavy duty HVAC equipment to accommodate the facility’s needs. Sight and Sound Theatre is now among the top three theatre destinations in the country.

Gold Mechanical provided its expertise on the Stadium Drive Residence Halls at the University of Arkansas. This project was unique considering it was the first large-scale, mass timber residence project in the United States. This building provides a wonderful environment for the students at the University of Arkansas.

Springfield Glass Company

Springfield Glass Company faced the challenge of hot and cold spots throughout its offices for decades. This issue has caused discomfort among team members, resulting in using personal fans and space heaters to alleviate the situation. However, we successfully developed a custom solution to address and resolve these airflow and temperature inconsistencies. We created a tailored plan after conducting a comprehensive office space assessment, considering various factors such as ventilation, insulation, and overall comfort. We implemented a permanent solution that has significantly improved the airflow and temperature conditions throughout the premises. 

Branco Enterprises

Branco Enterprises had their air conditioning unit fail on the hottest day of the year. The local HVAC company called in to fix it and ended up causing more harm than good, leaving the unit in an irreparable state, and quoting an astronomical price for a replacement. That’s when they reached out to us. We arrived on the same day and made a temporary fix to provide immediate heat relief. Understanding the urgency of the situation, we expedited the permanent fix, which included replacing the unit and ensuring a brand-new air conditioning system was installed on the very same day.

The partnership between Gold Mechanical Services and Has Properties began in 2020 when Chuck Hicks, the Maintenance Superintendent at Has Properties, was tasked with finding a reliable mechanical services provider. After thorough research and recommendations, Hicks decided to give us a try. Not long after partnering, during a scorching summer, one of the properties managed by Has Properties experienced a catastrophic chiller failure. With no time to waste, Hicks immediately contacted us for assistance, which we responded to and arrived quickly to assess the situation and swiftly provided a temporary fix to ensure the comfort of the residents while working to replace the faulty chiller. The new installation was completed seamlessly, ensuring minimal disruption to the daily operations of the property.
